King of This World

If i were King of this world
The one and sovereign lord
Worse than has ever been seen will occur
This life would be filled with more gore

Humans can’t act devoid of emotions
Love, hatred stress culminating in commotion
Angry? and I’ll blaze thunder on the east side
Too happy? and I’ll cause an avalanche on the mountain side

Doing what i want when i want it
No limits cos I’m second to none
The hilarity of the situation wont just fit
Cos no one will be laughing but me. No not one!

I would rewrite history books my way
Hitler would become Adam
Tower of Babel would be completed
So i can stroll the earth whenever i feel like on any given day

A second throne would i build on earth
To me alone would all the worship be
Anyone who doesn’t from the bottom of their heart
Would die in whatever way pleases me

Everyone would live in fear of me
Cos it will be my way or the highway
Terror will rule and men cringe in front of me
I’ll do worse than any ruler the world has seen cos i;m supreme

I’ll raise nations against nations just for sport
Flatten mountains and elevate valleys
Please myself since there can be no retort
I’ll give the world a taste of my wrath’s chalice

The lightning bolt would be my staff
To burn whoever dare stand before me to ash like chaff
Take a second to imagine the chaos
If man were to be God

So, Reign on Great King
Cos none can do the things you do
keeping dis world in order
With your love, REIGN ON!!!

Take Me Home

Hopeless truant travail of a gypsy
Left behind by the marauding hordes
Holding on barely; to the fraying cords
Delirious as high as it can go, oddly feeling tipsy

I feel like a dismembered limb; not fit
As i pull a twine around myself in retrospect
I still couldn’t wrap my head around it
How can i be in and feel out? Its all a bleak prospect

Throw me into the pool of renewal
Return me to my origin
Give me life once again; call it the revival
Restore me to the place where i’ve once been

Lead me away from this ancient tomb
Please send someone to take me home

If i may

If i may, let me speak
Of the wonders my eyes have beheld
My eyes sparkled and a tinge ran through and to my head
And in a matter of seconds, my knees became weak

If i may, let me describe
The one who plays the strings of my heart
The one whose sight and thought of makes my heart kick-start
The one whose name on my heart i’ll inscribe

If you’ll listen, let me tell you about her
She causes the wind to halt its north-eastern passage
The atmosphere is charged by her aura and her carriage
With or without effort, she exudes charm
With her hair neatly permed
Must tell u, she has me charmed

If u may, see for yourself
Cos words desert me Each time i try
to describe her
And then you will see
that masterpieces of nature exist
And she for sure is one of them.

The Black Sheep

Seeming of no value
the so-called black sheep
Failing to behave as expected
Flagrant disobedience: their recognised flagship

Up until when he proved them wrong
They did nothing but underrate
Even when he did try to please
Nothing did they do but berate

Yet he held faith in himself
That “though you write me off, i refuse to do so”
Through time and chance, he clained his own
Till nobody could utter the words “i told you so”

Cos none could imagine a victory so great
From one whom they had called a failure
Even before he started running,
He got that for which he was aiming

As it goes

Jehova sanctus unum. I sing your praise
Out of the mire, my downcast soul you’ve raised
Forgiving my iniquities though so many
You see them no more. Not any

Liberty you gave, right out of your son’s death right
To live above satan and all he represents
You take me to heavenly places, out of reach of his might
There i reside, though on earth i’m still resident

When arrows fly, either by night or day
I close my eyes in peace n open my mouth to say
He took my place by dying on d cross
Maybe for them, but me i’m on a different bus

With you lord my path forever lies
Till my flesh dies n i reign with you on high.

With You

Jehova sanctus unum. I sing your praise
Out of the mire, my downcast soul you’ve raised
Forgiving my iniquities though so many
You see them no more. Not any

Liberty you gave, right out of your son’s death right
To live above satan and all he represents
You take me to heavenly places, out of reach of his might
There i reside, though on earth i’m still resident

When arrows fly, either by night or day
I just close my eyes in peace and open my mouth to say
He took my place by dying on the cross
Maybe for them, but me i’m on a different bus

With you lord my path forever lies
Till my flesh dies n i reign with you on high.
