Hi friends, its monday again and a resumption of activities. (resumption of hostilities*in Jon Champion’s voice in PES ’11). I hope you are ready to face the week.
I came across this poem while taking my devotional on e-sword and i wanted to share it with you. By the way, do you know you can get devotionals on your e-sword bible software. If you are someone whose day starts early and is usually in front of a computer screen, this might come in handy. If you need more information on this, just say so in the comments section below and i’ll reply you.
So, back to the poem, it touched me and i pray it does the same to you, both literarily, spiritually and intellectually!
So enjoy and have a great week ahead!
“Once to every man and nation, comes the moment to decide,
the strife of truth with falsehood, for the good or evil side;
Great cause, some great decision, offering each the bloom or blight,
The choice goes by forever, ’twixt that darkness and that light.
Then to side with truth is noble, when we share her wretched crust,
Her cause bring fame and fortune, and ’tis prosperous to be just;
It is the brave man chooses while the coward stands aside,
The multitude make virtue of the faith they had denied.
Though the cause of evil prosper, yet the truth alone is strong;
Her portion be the scaffold, and upon the throne be wrong;
That scaffold sways the future, and behind the dim unknown,
God within the shadow, keeping watch above His own.”
